ECS Recruitment are recruiting a Bar Manager for the client based in County Kildare.
Successful candidate will be managing the bar operation of a busy Gastropub in County Kildare.
Main Responsibilities
- To maximise the profitability of the beverage operations through effective purchasing, cost controls and sales
- Purchase, Invoice and Stock take of Bar
- Ensure the smooth running of the bar operations
- Ensure that all guests receive a high standard of service with the team providing a warm welcome and living the Company values
- Oversee the recruitment and staff development to ensure the team operate at a high level and delivers great service and standards
- Motivate, lead, support and guide your team
- Control staffing levels and ensure the bar is adequately staffed for business levels, being aware of outside factors that may influence business and being ready to adapt accordingly
- Always implement and maintain the SOPs for the bar, ensuring the team is trained and following the guidelines
- Dealing with guest queries in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring the best customer care and satisfaction
- Continually develop new knowledge and skills to ensure best practice service delivery
Ideal Candidate
- Minimum 5-year experience in similar role required
- Ability to write and communicate with guests, solve multiple problems at the same time, set up priorities, organize work and make certain decisions
- Excellent communication skills in the English Language and people management experience
- Ability to develop team members and to work in a team environment
- Demonstration of experience & success in managing a project or strategic change in the business
- Competitive salary will be on offer depending on the candidate’s experience
