We have an exciting opportunity for a Field-Based Business Development Manager to join our prestigious client, a leading provider of security and alarm system monitoring services.

Role Overview: As a Field-Based Business Development Manager, you will be the driving force behind our client's growth in the security and alarm system monitoring sector.
You will be responsible for identifying, nurturing, and converting business opportunities, establishing valuable partnerships, and ensuring that the tailored security solutions provided align seamlessly with clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Prospecting: Identify and cultivate a strong pipeline of potential clients within the security and alarm system monitoring sector.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, gaining a deep understanding of their security requirements.
  • Customized Solutions: Present and showcase our client's security offerings, ensuring each client receives personalized solutions.
  • Negotiations and Deals: Collaborate with clients to finalize agreements and contracts, ensuring win-win outcomes.
  • Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with technical experts, marketing, and other teams to ensure successful service delivery.
  • Reporting: Keep accurate records of sales activities, lead progression, and market intelligence using CRM tools.


Qualifications:

  • Proven Success: Demonstrated track record of 5+ years in business development within security, technology, or related sectors.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong grasp of security and alarm system solutions, monitoring services, and associated technologies.
  • Client Relations: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to foster trust and credibility with clients.
  • Strategic Vision: Ability to identify opportunities, formulate effective strategies, and execute plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Negotiation Skills: Proficient in contract negotiations, balancing client requirements with company objectives.
  • Results-Driven: Proven ability to meet and surpass sales targets with a proactive and motivated approach.
  • Technical Acumen: Comfortable with understanding and explaining technical concepts related to security and alarm systems.
  • Mobility: Willingness to travel within [Location] and its surrounding areas as needed.
