ECS Recruitment is seeking a Receptionist for a 4-Star Hotel in West Dublin, County Dublin.

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and guest-oriented Hotel Receptionist to join a 4-star hotel located in West Dublin.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes, and contributing to the overall positive guest experience. As a Hotel Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for guests and play a pivotal role in creating a welcoming and efficient atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests warmly and professionally, ensuring a personalized and friendly arrival experience.
  • Provide accurate information about the hotel's facilities, services, and local attractions.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, striving to exceed guest expectations.
  • Efficiently process guest arrivals and departures, ensuring accuracy in reservation details and payment information.
  • Manage room reservations through the hotel's property management system, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Assist guests with booking inquiries, modifications, and cancellations, while maximizing room occupancy.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Handle cash, credit card transactions, and billing processes accurately and securely.
  • Provide guests with accurate invoices and receipts upon request.
  • Address and resolve any guest concerns or issues, escalating to higher management if necessary.
  • Strive to turn negative experiences into positive ones by demonstrating empathy and problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest interactions, reservations, and transactions.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a receptionist or front desk associate in a hotel environment.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Fluent written and oral English.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Knowledge of Dublin's local attractions, restaurants, and transportation options is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in hospitality is advantageous.
